Big 'Y' Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

New York Admin: We have been informed the town of Guilderland has closed of the area of the cache to the public including pedestrian traffic. They have erected signs at all three entrances to the "Y" stating so. See attached screen capture from Google street view. The town has also stated they have never given permission for a cache to be placed here.

For the above reasons I am archiving this cache.

Geocache Description:

It's not buried by the “Big dub-ya” but you may see the “Big Y” when you go back to your car. Adhere to the signs. The approximate elevation of the hide is 385'. The two railroad lines below are active and I should not have to tell you to stay away from them, but I will anyways. If on the wrong side, then don't bridge the gap...go around. You do not have to leave the asphalt to find this cache, ergo, do not go on the bridge!
