This event has been put together to draw Geocachers in from all over. We have had a lot of fun putting together a weekend that will surely be fun filled and very challenging. While we have competition courses set up, we also have a ton of things to do for non competitors. You can always do any of the courses without paying the competitors fees. This will allow you to find over 20 actual caches in the park, do 2 multi cache courses and find over 80 tagged waypoints while seeing some of the most scenic landscape in Missouri.

We have the following competitor courses laid out..

  1. Course A - Saturday - Will be on mostly level terrain and close to parking and road areas. It is mostly in pine areas.

  2. Course B - Saturday - Will take you along the Pickle Creek area and have some hills and bluffs for your enjoyment!

  3. Course - "Couples" - Saturday - Will show you some great areas as we merged a couple of courses for your pleasure.

  4. Course - Team - Saturday - Will take you all over the park and will highlight some of the most magnificent features of Hawn State Park.

  5. Course A - Sunday - Will take you along the Pickle Creek area and point out some really nice features.

  6. Course B - Sunday - Will take you up and down some beautiful hills and give you some of the best views of Hawn.

  7. Course - "Couples" - Sunday - will show you more areas of Hawn. It will be a nice stroll along some really nice trails.

Scoring will be based upon the best times turned in. Course A, B and Couples will be the best combined time from the course on Saturday and Sunday. Each of these courses will have 10 waypoints on Saturday and another 10 on Sunday.

The Team event will be scored based upon the best time on the 1 course Saturday. The team course will have 20 waypoints and can be done in any order by any team members. You must have all team members present to finish.

If you are camping, we hope you have made your own arrangements. Only those in the group area should send us an email to assist with camping. Group rates for camping in this area is 1.00 per person per night. The group area will only hold 75 people / 40 tents. Please email migc@mogeo.com for questions and reservations.

Last thing to keep in mind, Every penny from the event is given right back to you. We will invest everything in give-aways and door prizes. We make nothing and keep nothing. We want this to be the best event and eventually we would like to see others do the same thing. Major events that occur every year to pull in cachers from all over the place. Thats what I would like to see happen from this!

Hope to see you there...!!!!....
