Geocache Description:

This cache was set to welcome geocacher Slimey and his family to their new home in Chepstow.
Naturally, the trail can be very slimy and slippery when wet, but it has a lot of interest. Boots recommended, maybe even wellies. The route is suitable for children, but not buggies. Allow about an hour to complete the circuit. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PENCIL AND PAPER WITH YOU.

Suggested parking at the co-ords at the top of the page. Take the (sometimes) slimy green footpath down the slope… you are seeking the micro at Slimy’s first home at N51º 37.785 W2º 39.042. The approach may be wet underfoot…that’s how Slimy likes it. He has a home with a view over the River Severn to the Old Severn Bridge and Oldbury power station. This channel of the Severn, along the west bank, is called the Slime Road. When you’ve located the micro, make a note of the co-ordinates for Slimy’s second home – PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE LAMINATED STRIP! – and continue to find the path leading “onwards and upwards” at N51º 37.913 W2º 38.952. You will cross Slimeroad Pill - blink and you’ll miss it (probably just as well). In the summer, there are butterflies and dragonflies along this stretch of the walk, also blackberries, sloes and elderberries in season. You can find interesting fossils in some of the fallen rocks too. The path will lead you to a significant stone at N51º 37.951 W2º38.904. At the stone admire the view and find the three numbers on the stone : xyz You now have all the necessary information to locate the cache at Slimy’s second home.

The cache is a regular clip-lock container with the usual swaps...and a "slimy" FTF prize.
