The County of Contra Costa, California (the "County") was incorporated in 1850 as one of the original 27 counties of the State of California (the "State"). It is one of the nine counties in the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Area. The County is the ninth most populous county in California, with its population reaching approximately 930,000 as of January 1, 2000.
I scouted this spot many months ago but never got around to returning to place the cache. The terrain has changed a bit with some new folige since I was here last time but it is still accessible. This spot gives you a great view of the creek and there is plenty of convenient parking nearby. The cache is a magnetic micro, so bring your own pen.
