This cache is placed by permission of Linn County Conservation and Park Staff
Cache is a small ammo box with cammo paint, about 0.5 mile walk from the parking lot. It is about 15-20 feet off the main trail, and you should be able to get to the cache without bush wacking a trail through the natural prarie vegetation. After the cache, we recommend following the trail around counter clockwise to view the natural prarie flowers/wildlife.
Cache contains several buttons, coins, post cards, and a few small toys when place.
Wickiup Hill Learning Center is open during sunlight hours, but the gate closes at 4pm. The Learning Center is located at N42 04.960 W91 45.862. The hours vary for operation of the main building, and are:
Saturday - 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Sunday - 1:00 to 4:00 PM
Monday & Tuesday - CLOSED
Wednesday - 9:00 AM to Noon
Thursday/Friday - 1:00 to 4:00 PM
