Large Ammo box, short hike uphill on trail with light rock scrambling at the end of the approach.
This Large Ammo box cache is hidden near a very popular rock climbing area called 90 foot wall. The wall is only about 100 yards from the regular hiking trail, but is barely visible from the trail. Watch for climbers and if you go to the top of the wall itself, please do not knock rocks, etc. over the side because there could be people below.
The cache is a large ammo box, with a bunch of stuff in it. It's big so pretty much anything will fit in it for trading.
The view from the top is incredible, of Emerald Bay and Lake Tahoe. Usually only the climbers get to see it from there, but hopefully we can help Geocachers experience it as well. Also, don't miss Eagle Falls, about 100 yards downstream from the cache.
