A grab and go micro cache in a unique structure on Sunol Blvd. in Pleasanton. Note: the container is a flat metal box.
Applied Biosystems has recently completed its large technology campus/work place on Sunol Boulevard. As part of the project, the City of Pleasanton updated the street, expanding Sunol Boulevard to six lanes with two new stoplights. Lots of trees and bushes have been planted on both sides of the street and in the median making this boulevard a beautiful entry into Pleasanton. The modernization of this street includes a unique structure which although it looks modern and futuristic serves a traditional function.
This micro-cache is a camouflaged thin metal box containing only a letter with geocaching information and a log sheet. You will need to bring your own writing instrument. Presently, parking is available very close to the cache. In a few weeks, however, parking in this close location will be a matter of time.
