I decided to wait a bit before archiving and removing the cache.. I
find it very sad even frustrating that the NCC will make me remove
this great cache. The impact on the area is minimal to none. But I
suppose the NCC never geocached and doesnt really care much about
it . This cache as attracted people from all over even the USA.
This cache is in the grey zone and as to be removed??? Have fun
enjoy and experience nature and it's wildliffe somewhere else as
the NCC wont let you!!
First of all I really wanted to say Thank you to everyone with the
cache maintenance as it is not easy to go there often.This cache is
on top of a mountain. There is a nice view of the Ottawa river and
surrounding towns. BRING WATER to refresh yourself. This is a steep
climb but also a nice hike through the bush. You will also see
buzzards and handgliders on some days. There are also tons of deer
trails.Please do not leave any food in the cache. You can also get
to this cache by the look-outs "Champlain or Brule". This was not
the path I usedbut its your choice. Have a great "Bushwack" ;)
