Geocache Description:

The cache is not located at the coordinates listed above. You need to solve the puzzle below for the actual coordinates. Having some musical knowledge will help greatly in solving this puzzle. Simple math skills are required, however. Many thanks to Fizzymagic for making the puzzle work properly.

An obscure and little known music historian/critic/scholar named Bob Nikemann claimed that he had found a lost symphony of a very famous composer. To make sure it wasn't a finished part of someone else's Unfinished, he had his wife Clara perform the piece for the public to hear (Click on this link to listen to it - it is part of the puzzle).

Upon hearing this performance, the music community went into a rage over Mr. Nikemann's outrageous claim. Angered and humiliated, he hid the precious artifacts relating to the lost symphony so no one else could relish them.

Years later, Mr. Nikemann was declared insane and put into a mental institution. His wife Clara (who was much more sane) decided to share her husband's coded notes of the alleged Lost Symphony, to see if someone can help her find the hidden treasures:

A / (#D) - (#d)
B / (#E) - (#C)
c * (#c) - C - (#c)
d - (#E)
E / (#c) - (#d)
G * (#A) - A + (#A)

She remembers that whenever she asked her husband about the notes, he would go to a piano, play a B-flat Major scale, but would skip F, and pound G repeatedly.
