Geocache Description:

I was going to make this a mystery cache where you had to take various numbers off the plaque to figure out the coordinates, but when I got to this site I saw that this seems to be a very historical place: THREE different plaques!
So rather than confuse everyone about which plaque I was referring to, I decided to just give you the coordinates and then spend the time searching for this
cute little magnetic micro. So here goes:

Plaque #1:
Carson Hill...where in 1854 at Morgan Mine was found the largest gold nugget in CA weighing 195 pounds troy, worth at that time $43,000.

Plaque #2:
James H. Carson...(1821-1853), soldier, gold prospector and minor, writer, sportsman, who discovered gold at Carson Creek.

Plaque #3:
Archie Stevenot, Mr. Mother Lode, born on Sept. 25, 1882 and the subject of another virtual cache down the highway a bit.

Have fun!

Congratulations to blindbutnowisee for being FTF!
