This is a TRAVELING CACHE. The cache is the small toy Mars SOJOURNER ROVER.
March 14, 2015 UPDATE: Due to changes in the guidelines, the "additional logging requirements" originally specified in the description were rendered no longer enforceable. No logs have been deleted for some time, but this description is now only optional.
Now, you MUST sign the logbook attached, in accordance with Geocaching.com guidelines. The following is the old description, but remember that you now are only required to sign the attached logbook. You now need to read the logs to find where the cache is located for sure, since cachers are not required to email me.
If you hold this cache and show it to others to log as a "pocket geocache", please note that this violates geocaching.com guidelines and I may delete your found it log for guidelines violations. I do not want to have to archive this geocache because other cachers cannot follow the guidelines.
I first saw the original little wagon toy listed in a cache in Atlanta, Georgia. Since it was small and had wheels, I thought it would be a great traveling cache. Then ~erik~ got it before me. Erik then re-hid the toy in another cache. PERFECT!!! I got it several days later… so here we go. Thanks to Van & Judy for the help in replacing the old wagon toy with the NEW MARS ROVER. Austin and Alotta also have helped tremendously to keep the ROVER going. If you have a question, email me!
PLEASE do not take the toy unless you intend to place it in a new cache and let me know where you put it. I can then update this page so it can be found again and moved on to the next cache. This cache MUST go back into a PHYSICAL Cache, not left at a virtual cache location. DO NOT put it in an obscure or difficult to reach location. Keep it near a Metro City location so it does not get stuck. Let's see how far it goes!
This is a RARE toy, please do not keep it. I got these from eBay!

2. You may log a find on this cache only if you have taken the ROVER out of a cache and plan to move it to a new physical cache. Virtual caches and event caches do not qualify. Multiple logs from events will be deleted.
3. You MUST note that you took it in the logs for the cache it was located in AND this cache page.
4. You MUST contact me via email with your plan for the next cache location you will move it to.
5. Email me IMMEDIATELY when you successfully re-hide it.
6. YOU MUST LOG THE NEW CACHE PAGE AND THIS PAGE.
Traveling caches are no longer allowed on the site. This was the second traveling cache, so enjoy it and please keep it moving.
