BADGES Picnic #1 Event Cache

The First Bay Area Dining and Geocaching Enthusiasts Society (BADGES) Picnic will be held on Sunday, October 3rd starting at noon.

Every other month (or so), since January 2004, Bay Area Dining & Geocaching Enthusiasts Society (BADGES) has been hosting social get togethers in different parts of the Bay Area! This event is our "End of Summer" picnic. (Click our profile to learn more about our group.)

Each of our first 4 dinners have been hugely successful!

Future dinners will take place all over the Bay Area, including the East Bay, the North Bay, and the Peninsula!

All Geocachers, Geocaching friends & families, and Geocaching wannabes (or anyone interested in Geocaching) are welcome to attend!

• $2 per person covers the park fee ($150) & our expenses (kids under 12 are free)
• Bring potluck item and your own drinks --
• If your last name starts with the letters...
  • A-F: bring a snack (i.e., chips & dip, veggies, fruits, breads)
  • G-L: bring a salad or side dish (i.e., green, pasta, potato, macaroni, fruit)
  • M-Q: bring a dessert (self explanatory)
  • R-Z: bring a main dish (i.e., meats for BBQ... burgers, hot dogs, sausages, veggie burgers, chicken)
• Barbeques & condiments will be provided. Electrical outlets are available at the site.
• The park has play areas for kids and miles of trails on the bay!
• Sorry, but no pets are allowed.
