This is the 9th in our Fallin' For Virginia series. Our intent
is to bring you to some of the most beautiful waterfalls of
Southwest Virginia. This little waterfall is not a Niagra Falls but
it is still worth seeing. The Falls of Alvarado Road are part of a
thin stream that tumbles for 15 feet over mossy covered rocks and
then goes under the road and on down to the South Fork of the
Holston River.
While the waterfall is small, in volume, it it is very
photogenic. Bring your camera.
Please replace the cache back to exactly where you found it. We
wanted to place a larger cache container, but as you will see, the
area doesn't lend itself for a big hunt.
Take care and enjoy some nature's finest work. Have a good
caching day.
