Geocache Description:

F-Stop is located on the grounds of the historic Vermeule Mansion in North Plainsfield. The cache name is a nod to one of the mansion's tenants, the Fleetwood Camera Museum.

The Museum houses a collection of over 800 cameras, illustrating the 150 year evolution of camera design, as well as offering examples of many of the photographic processes which evolved during that period.

The mission of the Museum is to preserve and display these artifacts and to use them to stimulate interest in the art and science of photography. The Museum is open Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m., except for major holiday weekends.
