IT WAS HERE NOT SO LONG AGO, AND NOW IT'S GONE? EVERYTHING IS SO DIFFERENT NOW - WILL IT EVER BE THE SAME AGAIN?
They say the landscape of a city is ever changing, but here is an area where until recently there was some permanence. Now, however, things have changed. But what exactly has changed? This virtual cache will perhaps provide some answers - provided you provide some answers to me.
As is the norm with virtual caches, DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS ON THIS SITE! Instead, email me via the profile above, and I in turn will email you with the go ahead to log your find. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN THE DELETION OF YOUR LOG ENTRY AND THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT!
As with most downtown cache locations, accurate coordinates are hard to come by, but the object(s) you seek should be obvious. Also parking during business hours can be difficult. There are meters nearby, although finding an open one can be a challenge. Please answer the following questions:
1) When was the thing that is now gone first placed here?
2) About 33 feet SE of the site there is a sign prohibiting certain activities that nonetheless take place regularly at this place. What in the number of the City Code referenced on the sign?
3) Also nearby are references to a prominent Hispanic memorialized in the area. Who?
4) What used to be at the posted coordinates but now is gone? And what was left as a reminder?
