Geocache Description:

Last Saturday, after placing the container and gathering the information needed for the new Confederate Park hide, I decided to stop by my favorite eating establishment and grab a sandwich. After finding a parking spot, I walked approximately one block to the restaurant. As I got there, a man stepped up to me and stood in my path. I moved to go around him and he mirrored my actions, remaining in my path. It was at this point that I truly looked at him. His clothing, while worn, was clean. His hair, though dishelved, appeared washed and recently cut. At first glance he appeard to be just an everyday normal fellow. Then he began to speak.

I gotta tell you a story, man! I gots to! It's important. Wait, man! No! Don't walk off! Just listen, man. Just listen. It'll change your whole world, man. It'll change it if you just listen. Good! Good.

See man, a while back Kluso and me, we took a trip. We went to Power Island man. That's where we went. It took a long time to get there man. A long time. I don't remember how long. You know they say it isn't about the destination, but it is about the journey. Well they are wrong, man. And I'm glad they are wrong because I don't remember the journey, but I can't forget the destination.

Wait, where was I? Oh! Yeah, yeah, yeah, the island. See man when we got there we were looking for the secret lava bed. You know, it's a secret and we couldn't find it. Mike knows where it is. You know Mike don't you? Mike Teague? Anyway we couldn't find it.

So instead, we went on down to the shore. It was a pretty day man, so we figured we would walk along the beach. When we got there, man I bet you don't know who we saw. You don't know do you? Jane and Bob, man. Jane and Bob! I didn't know them but Kluso said they were cool. So we hung out with them for a while. A couple of hours later they each picked up a fishing pole and headed towards the water. I yelled and asked what they were fishing for. They yelled back "just for the halibut."

Wait, man! Don't go! That's only half of what I got to tell you. Man, if you don't hear the rest it won't make any sense.

You see man there was this time I was hanging with Jim. Jim Pate you know. Real cool dude. Anyway he said to me, let's go riding. Riding I says, what do you mean? He says riding, you know, on my iron horse. You know, my motorcycle. So I says if there is only one motorcycle how am I going to ride? So he says, we'll just add you on the back. It's cool. Anyway we headed out. Jim says we gotta go by Mike's first. You know Mike, don't you? Mike Teague? Anyway, we went by there but he wasn't home. So we took off riding. It was a pretty day out in the desert and we were just relaxing and enjoying the ride when all these other people just came flying by. They were all on shiny new motorcycles and man they were movin'! Jim pulled to the side and we just watched them ride by. They were yelling too man. As they rode by the each yelled something. I couldn't hear what it was so I asked Jim. I said hey man, who were those people. He looked at me like I was dumb and said that was Team Crush. That didn't help me at all 'cause I had never heard of them. So I said, what was they yellin'? Jim says they were yelling echo lodato, and no I don't know what that means. Then we went home.

Do you see, man? Do you see? Your world is different now isn't it? It's different.

I walked away without a word. The man had spouted gibberish in the form of a story and I had listened to it. Was my life different now? Yes it was. Those minutes I has spent listening to that madman were lost to me, never to be regained. Perhaps though his words did have meaning that was beyond my comprehension. It is to that end that I have written down his words and placed them here.

Alright, down to the nitty gritty. First, a reminder, the cache is not at the listed coordinates. Nothing caching related there, but you can get a good cheesesteak. Next, once you have solved the puzzle you will be looking for a camouflaged lock and lock. Do not hunt this cache after dark. For the first to find there is a twenty dollar gift certificate to the restaurant at the listed coordinates. Have fun, be safe, and happy caching.
