About a mile in on the Ventana Canyon trail. This cache was placed by the St. Cyril Cub Scout Pack #115
Cache is an old ammo box and is located about a mile in on the Ventana Canyon Trail. It is well hidden but not covered over. You'll see many tall saguaros including a crested saguaro and one that looks to be waving "Howdy Pardner!"
The trailhead is accessed via the road that leads up to the Loew's resort. As always in the desert watch for cactus spines, scorpions and snakes. Please sign our log book as the Pack will be making this an annual hike to check the cache.
