Geocache Description:

I like this place so I'm sort of bringing back the old "off the beaten path" by rob one & yvette (gcj99z) that was hidden very near here. This cache is near a nice paved trail that you can walk or bicycle on. From the cache, the trail goes north about 0.25 miles to Maple Park, and south about 1.0 mile to the River Parks. A good place to park is 36°08.140 95°59.072, which is about 540 feet from the cache. If you are fortunate you will see these purple flowers on the west side of the trail. Please try not to let people see you grabbing or putting back the cache.

The cache is off-trail a few feet in a low-lying area. Mud, chiggers, poison ivy, ticks, mosquitos, snakes, and other pests are quite possible.

This cache was placed with the permission of the Tulsa Parks Department.

1/11/2008 I replaced with a new container. Please fold the log book into an L shape to make it fit.

7/24/2010 Replaced with an ammo can. It doesn't quite fit where it used to, so please cover before you leave. Changing terrain rating from 1.5 to 2.

---Congrats to The Sooners on the first to find---
