

The Shadow Lord's evil tyranny has finally ended. But thousands of Deltorans are still enslaved in the Shadowlands, the Enemy's own terrifying and mysterious domain. To rescue them, the heroes of the quest for the Belt of Deltora, must find a weapon powerful enough to combat the Shadow Lord's magic. According to legend, the only thing the Shadow Lord fears is the Pirran Pipe. But does the mysterious Pipe still exist?
Our geocachers are desperately searching for the three parts of the fabled Pirran Pipe, their only hope of saving the Deltorans held captive by the evil Shadow Lord. The geocachers have already risked life, limb and sanity to gain the first portion of the pipe in the Cavern of the Fear. Now they must find the second fragment on the Isle of Illusions.
The Pirran Pipe has been split three ways. Auron’s have hidden their piece of the pipe on The Isle of Illusions. There are several ways to approach the cache location. The geocachers have been warned that terrible dangers await them. But nothing can prepare them for the reality of what is to come.
Deltora is a land of monsters and magic. First the geocachers have to find the actual cache location.
The specific details of the actual cache location are indelibly marked on the Seat of Trees. The seat location can be found from information at the given co-ordinates. The actual cache location is nearby. Not far away at all really.
The Column of Guardians at the given co-ordinates has associated information. From the details presented you must determine a distance, X, based on the equation, X = 100,000,000 microns multiplied by the square root of the number of letters (2) in the second word before frog. Now journey directly north this exactly distance X to find the Seat of Trees.
Before you leave the Column of Guardians do not forget to kiss the frog. You might find your lucky inner prince or princess.
The cache contains a logbook, pencil, swaps and a pipe clue. Remember to record the details of the pipe clue; you will need this information to solve the location of the final cache in Deltora Quest II. These caches have been placed with the assistance of eight and thirteen year old boys. If you know a child in this age range you may find that they can be helpful.
