Pooh03276: I feel like I'm shooting Old Yeller' , but it's time to let go given the recent history. Perhaps someone can do something in the surrounding area. Sorry, Derb !

This is a relatively easy cache. There is a little steep going, so be careful if the ground is wet or frosty. This is Muggle City ! This location is well west of prior locations. Trying this section out as the former location was getting a little shopworn and there were some reports of neighbor conflict. The cache is almost reachable from the grass-no need to go thrashing through the woods !
This cache was originally sited in 2003 by Salamanders W., a very early cacher. (He also planted the coolest ever cache, RFD !) After his departure from caching, the cache was adopted by Derb522002, who cared for it for about fifteen years. The current placement has been changed, at least temporarily. Feedback is appreciated, as the placement may be tweaked as things progress. Glad to keep this bit of caching history alive ! The following description is from prior owners: "We thought that this would be a nice addition to the virtual caches in the area. The Tilton Arch is a nice place for a picnic, to fly a kite or to just relax and enjoy a quiet afternoon. The parking lot, which you may have to drive around a bit to find, is located near an old cemetery. Remember to CITO. (There is a garbage can at site) The cache is a Hide a Key container. A Little History of the Tilton Arch: Charles E. Tilton donated what is perhaps the most notable landmark in the area, the Hilltop Memorial Arch. The Roman arch replica was built in the late 1800s as a memorial to his ancestors. The arch is built of Concord granite, 50 feet high and 40 feet wide. Ironically, the Tilton Arch is actually located across the Winnipesaukee River, in the neighboring town of Northfield"
Note as of 10/04/2023 at approximately 300, this will be a micro. Be cautious at GZ-this is not friendly for the mobility impaired. Cache is too small for a log and travel bugs just aren't going to work. Have fun !
