A very pleasant walk along the River Wye. Suitable for children and dogs, not suitable for high heels and pushchairs.
This geocache is a walk along the River Wye, a route well known to us from following the annual River Wye Raft Race. The walk is about a mile or so in total, and is suitable for children and dogs, though pushchairs are probably not a very good idea. It has a sister cache called “The River Wye At Caplar”
Multi-caches
This cache is a multi-cache. The location given above is the location of the first micro-cache – this contains nothing but the location of another cache. You have to go from cache to cache, until you find the final cache. Please do not leave anything in any of the intermediate caches, and report on any problems with their condition.
The Cache
There is limited parking by the church. THE PATH TO THE RIVER LEADS FROM THE CORNER OF THE CHURCH, DIAGONALLY TOWARDS THE CORNER OF THE FIELD. Don't follow the little side road - it belongs to a farmer who'll request that you get off his land!
There is a bit of a slope from the church down to the river - nothing too testing, but it could be slippery if it's been raining.
