Do you want to go down and rest for awhile? Traditional Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

RedHiker: Hi, WalruZ

I see that your cache has not been found for multiple years. It may still be there or could be missing, or have damage, but enough time has passed since it was successfully located that you should visit it. I'm going to disable it to remove it from the list of active caches. Please stop by and check on your geocache and see if it is still there. If it is, then please leave a note for geocachers and re-enable it. This will let people know they can look for it again.

If you can't verify your cache is still in place, or replace and repair it in a timely manner then it might be time to archive it.

Please either verify/fix and enable your geocache or remove the cache and archive it from the geocaching site within the next 31 days so that it can move out of this state of limbo. If you plan on repairing this cache, please create a new log note on this cache page.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Geocache Description:

On a lovely summers day our family joined 13 other cachers on the Skyline-to-the-sea trail. We kept up with them for the first half mile. After that, it was all over, we never saw them again. Of course, we never intended to go the whole way, so that's Ok.*

We made it as far as the Timms Creek trail, then turned around and hiked back. Part of what makes this loop "strenuous" (as the signs say) is that aside from the very first climb to the ridge, much of the initial portion is downhill - meaning that the long hike back to park headquarters is up a steady grade.

On our way back up the grade we saw this pleasant place. BuckyD turned to me and uttered the balm which is the title of the cache. We spent quite awhile recharging for the final climb back up to the ridgeline.

You might be making the hike as a loop, or you may be headed for the sea. Either way, when you come even with this cache site, read the cache title and see if you don't answer "Yes!"
