And that's true. If you take the approach I took, you might find the trail rather monotonous, but there are great views of sweeping vistas. If you take another way in, you will be traveling smaller trails through the woods. You will also see historic sites, but chances are this approach will be longer and involve lots of twists and turns. Take your choice of route.
The route I took is a 2.6 mile hike and a 750 foot elevation change.
The original contents of the cache were:
- Map of nearby area with lots of nice trails.
- Two Doggies puzzle.
- Yo-Yo (lights up AND makes sounds!).
- Fred Flintstone in a car.
- Rainbow jewelry box.
- A little mirror (a beauty...won't last long at this price !)
- Golf ball mark repair tool from Saddle Creek/Copperopolis.
The container is about 2" by 6" by 9", so needs small items.
