Geocache Description:

This cache contains small smooth stones painted with a geocaching related logo and the name of the cache.

This is the third attempt to have a cache in this general area -- the other two were stolen. This time the hide is more difficult. At high tide, you will have to wade through water about 2 ft deep for about 15 ft to reach the small island where the cache is hidden. At low tide, you can walk across some pieces of metal that form a small bridge over the mud flats.

Park in the gravel lot at the SE corner of the bridge. Walk OVER the road and take the path down to the water. Then make you way over the water or mud to the cache.

Please watch for fishing folk on the nearby bridge. You should be able to approach the cache without being seen.

Also note the hundreds of crabs moving around on the ground as you walk to the cache site -- no barefeet here !!
