Geocache Description:

Location changed after being vandalised last yearA small cache on Bernard's Heath, where Syke loves to run and play with all her four legged friends!

Bernard's Heath is the name of this park and is also the name of the small infant school opposite. The park is well loved by the locals and used to be the site of the start of the St Albans carnival. In the early 1400's it was used for brick making. Now the bottom field (which leads to the Heathland's School for deaf children) is suffering from Swallowing, which is why there are mounds of earth

Park in Sandridge Road which is lovely in the spring with pink and white blossom, please post a picture if you take one! Walk through Bernards Heath or alternatively park near the old fire station or side roads

There's a society called the Friends of Bernards Heath and you can read more about the history here: (visit link)

The cache is in a suspended green box

Happy Hunting!
