A pleasant stroll in the Hampshire countryside overlooking the Itchen valley
This cache is situated close to Stoke Park Wood. There are a number of ways to approach the cache, but suggested parking for 2 or 3 cars is available at
N50 58.267
W01 18.442
From here it is a pleasant walk of approx 0.7 Mile to the cache site over gently undulating country. This path is popular with dog walkers, and can be very muddy after wet weather. Walking from here you will pass the The Woodland Trust plantation at Crowdhill Copse. When planting the cache, the bluebells were just coming out all along the route.
Once you reach the cache site, you should have a view across the Itchen valley. The cache is a standard ammo box, with a selection of both adult and childrens items. It also has ay Waterproof camera, for you to record your find for posterity.
