What is a "World Wide Flash Mob" Event?
This "World Wide Flash Mob" Event is a gathering of geocachers
that is taking place simultaneously all across the United States
and around the world. It is only 15 minutes in length. Geocachers
arrive at a predetermined location, perform an activity, then
disperse after exactly 15 minutes.
Before the event, do not gather in a group or in the area until
11:55am.
Schedule
The event will begin precisely at 12:00 pm local time to
coincide with 10:00am Pacific Standard Time WWFM event on May15,
2010 and will last EXACTLY fifteen minutes, not one second
longer.
In keeping with the theme of the event, please bring or wear any
item that pertains to dinosaurs.
EVENT DETAILS
11:59 AM - Make your way to the designated event coordinates
shown above. Keep acting like you know no one.
12:00 PM - At exactly 12:00 PM as determined by the GPS clock,
we will show the green ammo can at the designated coordinates to
signify the start of the flash mob. Log Sheets will be given out to
sign. You must be present to log this event. BYOP. Bring travel
bugs and or coins to exchange/ and or discover. WWFWM PATHTAGS will
be given out..
12:07 PM - At exactly 12:07 PM as determined by the GPS clock,
we will gather at the dinosaur skeleton at the front of the
building to take a group photo.
12:12 PM - At exactly 12:12 PM as determined by the GPS clock,
we will make A FTF DRAW.
12:15 PM - At exactly 12:15 PM as determined by the GPS clock, I
will SIGNAL the event is over.
