The geocache is located about 1/4 mile from the corner of McFarlane and Jay.
Head west on highway 2 and turn left on Brooks Rd towards Medical Lake and then right on McFarlane Rd. Follow McFalane until you come to Jay on your right. Find a safe place to park along the road/intersection.
Walk across the road and look for the trail head. Follow the trail until you come to a "T" and turn right, follow the trail until you come to where it intersects another trail. Turn right again and follow your GPS to the hiding spot. The container is located less than 50ft from the trail and is easy to access. You could make it more challenging and follow your GPS through the trees instead of using the trails..
This is a great place for CITO. You'll see where people have tossed trash all along the trails.
Motorized vehicles are not permitted on the trails, but it is a good place for Mountain Bikes. There are a few miles of trails back through the forest. Most are easy to hike or bike but there are a few hills that make it challenging for bikes.
There is also a geocache titled "A Walk in the Woods" GC1EC2J placed by Stinky35 and Bearbait that you can find along the way.
Please place the geocache in the same location using the same camouflage.
This cache has been adopted by ORKY99. Thanks to dive_master 0404 for allowing us to take it over. There's a military challenge coin (courtesy of dive_master 0404) for the replaced cache and new FTF!
