To get there drive 2 miles past the town of Greenwater and turn
left onto forest service road 70. Go approx 9 miles and look for a
sign that says "Greenwater Trail 1/4 Mile" on the right. The entire
trip is on very good, paved roads. No need for 4WD.

This is a wonderful hike along a river to two small lakes. The
trail is heavily used in the summertime. Dogs are allowed, even
off-leash ones! The trail meanders along through the forest
crossing the river a number of times. The hike is 2 easy miles to
the second lake and the cache, and with the elevation gain of just
over 400 ft., you couldn't ask for a better "lunch at the end"
hike!
The
Lost Lake Casche GCB699 is up this same trail a few more
miles. I'd suggest the use of Green Trails Map # 239 Lester,
WA.
The cache is just a few feet off the trail. Use your geo-sense.
Please do not bushwhack. I was getting a good signal and hope you
do too.
PLEASE RE-HIDE WITH CARE!! IT
WILL BE PLUNDERED OTHERWISE!!!
