Geocache Description:

Our puzzle concerns the ship Barbarian, ably led by Captain Bluebeard since his fourteenth birthday. Bluebeard runs the ship with tight discipline (the lash) and frequent rations of grog. In any year, every crewperson receives seven tots of grog (rationed over each week to one per day, unless withheld) for every complete year of Bluebeard’s age. The incentives on board are effective: indeed, Bluebeard has captured gold doubloons exactly numbering the fourth power of his age in every year since he took over the ship. Perhaps this record accounts for his obsession with numerology… anyway, you now know everything you need to solve the crossword, and once you have solved all the clues ~~(follow the yellow cuckoo trail)~~, you will be able to find Bluebeard’s treasure!
