Geocache Description:

This is my first Multi-Stage cache and the first stage is a very small micro canister and you might need tweezers, just enough room for the coordinates of the second stage. It is right by the Hungarian Canadian hall. The second is a small canister that contains pencil, logbook and the usual swag pluss a FTF prize, a key chain of the old Hungarian map you see there layed of rocks. Both are very easy terrain.

I sett this cache up because I would like to introduce the Hungarian community and I am proud of this monument here. Because I was part of it when it was built. I was a member of the committee which organized it. An other member of the grup did the design of the landscaping. Him and me did the work of it. An other local company did the big construction of it, like placed that big rock which is standing up there, in a concrete base. So the story of this monument is, when it was the Alberta centenial in 2005. The southern Alberta Hungarians came up with the idea as a present to the city of Lethbridge because we immigrated here. The bird up on the top of the rock is the "Turul madar" (saker falcon) is the symbol of freedom for the Hungarians. They thought about this bird because most of them came here as refugees and they got freedom here. There is also a plaque for the 1956 revolution. The rock work on the ground we did is a map of the old Hungary before the world wars. Hungary is just 1/3 size of it now. The seven cedar trees resemble the seven tribes before they setteled in the Danubian basin and than became one nation. So the nest for the second stage is in the midle "teer" !!!
