“We really saved that from becoming a cheap Coney Island, which a Nevada firm hoped to develop,” MCL leader Caroline Livermore said later about the campaign to preserve Angel Island.
I had a great time hiking on Angel Island the day I placed this cache. It's a really beautiful place. Thank you Caroline, wherever you are.
Note: It is not necessary to go onto any steep slope in order to retrieve the cache. Please be careful and respectful of the environment. Also, when replacing the cache, please take time to camoflaugue the edges of the cache so it does not attract undue attention.
