My son Cal, who is non-verbal, and I were sitting on this beach a few months ago and a beautiful butterfly flew by. Cal made the sign for "butterfly" and then very slowly and deliberately said "butt-er-fly". He hasn't said it since but this beach will always remind me that the "impossible" is sometimes possible.
