You know you want to know who they are, come together and meet the active cachers in the UAE.
UAE's first ever Geocaching Event!! (that I know of)
Ok, I know it is a little out of the way for some of you, but this is our chance to get together and share our experiences. And what a fitting location! A view that only nature could provide... well, that is until the Burj Dubai is completed!
Our community is still very small, and we need to do our part to spread the geocaching joy/addiction. So, if you have any potential cachers in mind, please bring them along.
The only requirement is that all attending need to hide a cache somewhere on the way/day to the event.
Please do bring family, friends, or any other potentially interested parties along, so we can share the joy/addiction of geocaching.
As a reward for attending, I will place at least one cache in the area and share the details at the event. After the event, the cache details will be posted for Premium Members only.
Lets do our part to share the experience!
Update: Due to some logistical issues, the Desert Challenge starting on the 26th, and several other issues, I have moved the event a week earlier, on Friday, the 19th of October! I don't think it conflicts with anyones agendas, lemme know otherwise. FTC!!!
Update 2: The time has come to put down a time. The approximate time for the event will be 12:00 pm (midday). This should give everyone some time to possibly hide a cache in the morning, and some more time for people to find/hide caches in the afternoon!
Update 3: In the event that the event location is very busy, look for Casper (white Toyota Prado).
