This is a very simple North Carolina Challenge Cache, but it will get just a little bit harder as the years go by, however, once you've found it, there is no need to do anything in following years.
Optional -- You are welcome to update (edit) your list in the years that follow your initial find year with a North Carolina geocache find for that current year.
Before you can log this cache as, "Found it", you must have found and logged a North Carolina Geocache placed during each calendar year beginning in the year 2000, and each of the following years up to, and including, the year you log this cache. You must include in your log a list of your cache finds in the same format as the example presented below.
In North Carolina there is only one active cache that was placed in the year 2000. That cache is; Octopus Garden by Adventure Tom, GC70, hidden 09/30/2000. You must have found and logged the Octopus Garden cache to meet the year 2000 requirement for this log.
This log's cache container is a micro with room only for the log, so do not forget to bring a pen. The cache is located in nature preserve in Cary. The cache is located approximately 70 feet off a trail.
This cache is located on land owned by Triangle Land Conservancy, a non-profit organization based in Raleigh.
