What is this large green thing along Pipeline Road in Henry Cowell State Park? A really big drinking fountain?
Actually, it is the pressure relief valve for the pipeline that goes along Pipeline Road. If it is turned on when you get there do NOT attempt this cache! It used to not have a valve, and would overflow automatically when the pipeline pressure was too high. But as you can see, it now has a valve with a large chain and lock on it, so it can only be turned on manually.
The cache is very near the large green thing and VERY close to the road. Please do NOT wander too far from the road as there are large holes that you may fall in!
GPS reception may be spotty here, but I have given you enough information to find the cache.
