How lovely – a dog park under high tension wires – why, it’s enough to curdle a mother’s milk!
Get real, people! This is life in North Hollywood – DEAL WITH IT!
The dog park is closed for ground maintenance each Tuesday from 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Otherwise, it’s open 7 days a week, roughly from 6:30 AM until dusk. As the volunteer manager said, “When that street-light comes on, we shut ‘er down.”
The parking is as easy as the caching.
Recommended stealth: you don't have to bring a dog to act like a dog-owner. Gaze across the field and occasionally call out "Here, Rover!" or "Down, Fido!" or "Atta boy, Spot!" Please make sure there are dogs in the park when you do this – you don’t want to look deranged.
As you approach the cache - and replace it -- be cool.
Don't let 'em see your GPS.
Don't yell "Got it!"
Don’t make your logging obvious to anyone inside – or outside – the park.
Above all, watch your step!
NOTE: This cache will probably not be in its current location for long. It is hidden in such a ridiculously public place, that it’s just a matter of time before it disappears – but I just had to try it! When it does vanish, I’ll re-hide it in a safer, more boring spot. In the meantime – have fun!
