Geocache Description:

Dresden Parks and Recreation Department hosting an Introduction to Geocaching Event.

The Dresden Parks and Recreation Department is hosting an Introduction to Geocaching Event on August 18, 2012. Time of the event will be at 10 am. The posted coordinates are for the parking lot of the the Civic Center. Park employees will be on hand to answer questions about the parks in Dresden and also show the new Greenway that is located across Evergreen Street from the Civic Center. There will be geocachers at the event to answer questions about the sport of Geocaching, their stories and GPS units. We will also hike the new Dresden Greenway. Bring your stories, hiking pole or mountain bike.

For those who log this event and other finds on this day will receive a souvenir from Groundspeak for August 18th is International Geocaching Day.
