Geocache Description:

The cache is a clear Tupperware container with a white lid it contains a log book and a few trinkets chech out the pics for details

J and I spent our holiday this year at Tyax Mountain Lake Resort approximatly 5 hours past Whistler in the Bridge River Valley. There are two roads to Tyax or to the town of Gold Bridge, The Hurley Pass is a summer road only,or thru Lillooet and over to Gold Bridge, which at best is one lane,gravel,and big drops along Carpenter Lake but some very beautiful country.Tyax Resort sits on Tynaughton Lake 20 mins from Gold Bridge.(For More on this visit www.tyax.bc.ca)Once at the lodge the Cache is to the east in a vast network of trails,it is a steep walk up but the Cache is in the bush aways. I took the location from a stump with a great view of Tynaughton Lake.The Cache is under a tree within 10 feet of that stump.Although It is not a difficult Cache beware that this is Grizzly Bear Country,and when we were there in the begining of September there where 9 Bears around the Lake and we ran into one on these trails when placing this Cache.If you have the time its a great place but bring camping gear cause the resort is very expensive.
