Geocache Description:

Tupperware hidden in a rarely used part of Marsh Creek State Park.

We placed this cache with the idea that people could paddle to the location. It is near a very pretty spot along the shoreline of Marsh Creek Lake. Our suggestion would be to take the water route if possible. It will likely be much more pleasurable than the land route. Bring your own boat, or rent one. It's a nice lake to paddle and fish.

You can, of course, get there on foot, but be prepared to work for it. There are no trails, except some faint deer trails, in the area. The nearest parking area will allow you to walk down an old road toward the lake a bit, but once you hit the woods, you're on your own. Lots of prickers, poison ivy and the like. Be prepared! During hunting season, make sure you wear your blaze orange.

The cache intself should be a fairly easy find once you get to the cache zone. The difficulty is in getting there. Once there, enjoy the spot...we have on numerous canoe excursions.
