jakob8h: Well, it is time to close this cache. The aircraft has moved, it has been repainted to something else than Skyways. The signpost onto which the cache was hidden has been dismantled.

Geocache Description:

Linköping, the city of making Swedish airplanes. Close to the cache you find one of the many Linköping Airplane monuments.
Vid cachen återfinns ytterligare ett av Linköpings flygmonument.

[en] Saab made military airplanes. Starting in the 1930'ies with the plane Saab 17. Over the rest of the 20ieth century, fighters like the Barrel, the Lance, the Dragon, the "Viggen" and lately the Griffon. Howeveer some non-military planes were also built, for instance the Saab Scandia in 1946. Later Saab also built the Saab 340 and Saab 2000 who still are flying, but however nolonger being produced. What you find close to the coordinates is a 340 turning slightly sideways, painted in the colors of the flight operator Skyways.		[se] På SAAB i Linköping har man tillverkat militära flygplan sedan slutet av 30-talet. Först ut var Saab 17, därefter känner vi igen plan som Tunnan, Lansen, Draken, Viggen och Gripen. En del skolflygplan SK 50 Safir och SK60 och även några civila plan som Saab Scandia från -46 och på senare dagar Saab 340 och Saab 2000, som fortfarande flyger men inte tillverkas längre. I närheten av koordinaten finner du en 340 målad i Skyways färger på väg i sväng rätt mot Gärstadverkens pannor.
