A simple cache located on the headland of "Rubh'an Dunain" with spectacular views of the Scottish Highlands & Islands.
With my surname, I just had to place a cache in this beautiful country. I've completed many "Testing" caches during my time in Scotland and this is designed to be an antidote to those, just a gentle walk with rewarding views at the end.
Although this cache is placed on a headland there's no need to go near any cliff edge and you do not have to cross onto the stone pillar. That said you will need to keep a close eye on children & animals.
Limited off road parking is available at the co-ordinates shown and if you return via Drumbeg, I can recommend the local village store that has a very wide range of Scottish delicacies and sells a cask strength single malt whisky at 63.4% proof which will certainly warm the cockles of your heart.
