Geocache Description:

To preserve the heritage of this cache, we have left the description unchanged, however, as some information is now unfindable, we will tell you this: the town is STRATHCONON. All other info is findable. Enjoy.

The cache is a large container with a log book and swap items. The terrain should be accessible by most. Part of the Redzer's Highland High Jinks series, you will need to find Hamish, Flora, Ruari, Morag and But'n'Ben in order to find this cache. Only people interested in the conservation of the haggis species should be able to find this cache which is why their Home has been protected by a fiendish puzzle.
On finding the Haggises' daytime hideouts and their But'n'Ben, you will be furnished with some letters, which when rearranged will spell out the name of the location from which Redzer rescued the haggises. This place is also very dear to Redzer's heart and an excellent place for a holiday.

To find the haggises' home, you will need to do some research about this location and find out the answers to the following questions:

1) How many miles long is the single track road leading to this place? This will give you AB

2) In which Scottish county can this place be found? Leave off the word shire and count the number of letters = C.

3) Which famous victorian spa town lies very near to this place? Divide the number of letters in this town's name by two = D.

The cache can be found at: N5A'4(C+D-A).0B(B-D-A) W0'1(D-C).CA(B-C)

Good luck! The co-ordinates above are for the entrance to Sherrards Park Wood

It’s possible to do all of Redzer’s caches in this area (and Welwyn Woodland) as part of a roughly circular walk. Try parking at N51° 49.133 W0° 12.306, outside a local church. The walk is approximately 6km if you follow the order suggested below:-

Hamish ~ Lightning Tree ~ Googlies ~ Ruari ~ Morag ~ Premier Redz ~ Flora ~ Welwyn Woodland ~ Sheena ~ But’n’Ben ~ Haggises’ Home
