The Carleton College Cowling Arboretum has many different habitats. In this three part cache, you will visit the Oak Savannah, the Prairie, and one of the Wetland Areas.
This will take some time and footwork. It is a wonderful, worthwhile hike. However, the shortest possible round trip to the cache is approximately 3.2 miles. Your mileage may be greater, depending on the paths you take.
Final stage is an ammo can. First stage is small, second stage is film canister.
