A short hike through trails of Garfield Woods.
This cache may possibly be one of the first in Berlin, MA. Parking is off of Lancaster Road in Berlin, MA at N. 42.24.400/W. 071.39.194. The parking area is a small dirt lot that can accompany about 4 cars. The initial trail leads out to a set of rail road tracks. Follow the white Sudbury Valley Trustees diamonds that are embedded in the rail road track to find the path. You are only on the tracks for no more than 20 Ft. Do keep an eye and ear out though because it is an active track.
Once into the main trails you will have some choices on where to go. 97% of the cache hike can be spent on clear marked trails. Only the last 100 feet will require bushwhacking.
I have included a website that gives a description and a map of Garfield Woods. At times, maps can also be obtained from the message board at the beginning of the trail closer to the parking area.

The cache is a clear tupperware container with a green lid. It contains a log, some goodies and a camera for people to take their picture. If the camera is completed, please let me know and I will come and pick it up from the cache. I hope you enjoy this nice little area and, of course, enjoy the hunt.
