Base of Dillon Pinnacle's. Park 21M W of Gunnison at North end of Bridge Crossing Reservoir. Cache is outside NPS boundary.
This is a bit of a hike about 4 miles round trip. Not alot of elavation diffences though. We knew where we were going and it was a 3 hour round trip(with multiple picture stops). Bring plenty of water with you. this cache may possibly be accessed by boat and shortening the hike but i think that this would really be bushwackin it. would love for someone to try though. I also provide a few spoilers cause the GPSr's dont like being that close to cliffs only got an accuracy of 26ft after 300 readings. These coords will get ya real close but its a big area so you will know which gulch to try. Steep and very rocky last ascent to the cache, please be careful.
Take trail from parking lot. Take the left at first fork to stay on the Dillon Pinnacles Trail. (insert hint here)Cache is at the base of the cliffs at the end of the trail. Cache is a large salad dressing container. Original Contents:
