It's been a couple rough years for
ringbone. The pirate business has declined and not many
treasures have been "found". The days of
gold coins and
semi-precious bounty are over.
A wannabe had been placing worthless
"Hidden Treasure" caches around the state, but the fraud was
soon exposed.
A possible heir to the throne was secretly amassing
silver coins, planning a few ringbone-type hide-and-seek games.
The secret stash was pilfered by an associate, and apparently it
has been spread around, one item in a location. The suspicious
activity was noticed and a witness posted a note on a popular
treasure hunting website.
It is unclear how many of these random stash locations can be
found, or if ringbone is aware of the scam. If you're able to
determine the location of this one, the FTF treasure will be
yours.
