Geocache Description:

During your hunt take a moment to look south and you will see two things that many people consider to be America's lifeblood. Farming and Trucking. Many things about these two industries we take for granted. For instance, did you know that in 1916 it took a truck thirty-one days of driving for a truck to travel from Seattle, Washington, to New York City. This was considered an improvement because in 1912 a truck traveled from New York to San Francisco and took 46 days.

Despite the region we live in actual farmers are now a rarity. Currently, as of 2002, only 1.9% of the workforce is employed in agriculture. This is a drastic drop when compared to the year 1900 when 41% of the workforce was employed in agriculture.

This camouflaged waterproof matchstick container should prove only moderately challenging. A bigger challenge might be finding the correct road. Note that the road you will be on is not paved and is rough. Please plan your hunt accordingly.

7-26-2011 Container upsized to a small lock and lock. Still need to bring a pen though.
