The cache is placed under redwood bark near some fallen redwoods trees right next to the trail. Depending upon your height and reach, you should not need to leave the trail to find this cache!
This is a very peaceful and pleasing area, and so be warned that it can generate a lot of muggle hikers. In fact I was surprised that there were several today along this trail this afternoon on a clear and sunny winter's day.
Bring a camera! The falls here and the falls and cascades further up along the creek can be pretty impressive! In fact one of my favorite photographs taken by me over 20 years ago (not this one) is of these very falls!
GPS reception was spotty so no need to be shy about reading the hint.
The cache is placed very close to where the old Greyt Berry Creek Falls cache was (and which may still be there buried under the fallen trees.)
Cache is a Tupperware container compliments of where I work: we generate several empty "cache" containers per week that we just "give away". If you are interested in getting some of these containers, let me know.
Enjoy! And happy caching!
