This cache is named as it is because it is possible to go most of the way to it on an appropriately-named trail in the park. Plan to spend some time walking, as it is a couple of miles and 800 to 900 feet of increased elevation from the obvious parking areas, towards the back limits of the park.
After going a little ways off the trail, over grassy hills with no trees, you'll find several rock outcroppings, some of which (according to my children) make great "Simba Rock" sites (a reference to The Lion King movie). Don't take the most direct route off of the trail. If your GPS unit has topo maps, look at them carefully to pick the best spot to leave the trail.
This is my family's (The Larsen Clan) first cache that we've planted, so hopefully we did everything correctly. Enjoy!
Note: there is Poison Oak in the area of this cache, but the cache container can be retrieved without coming into contact with it. Just be careful.
